Our client wanted to optimize their letter communication for their users. Their main goal was to ensure a clear and comprehensible message to minimize support cost in relation to calls and questionable cases. At EyeReply we evaluated the letters and collected knowledge about users understanding of the written communication on an overall level and in detail with seperat sections and sentence compositions.
Our unique methodology allows us to evaluate the level of understandability of the communication in the letters. Combining a qualitative approach (moderated interviews together with qualitative eye tracking) with quantitative measurements (time spent on reading the letters and attitudinal scaling), we could identify the main areas of improvement in the communication, in relation to style and tone in the language, sentence compositions ect. across the different letters.
The result of EyeReply’s research enabled our client to ensure a high level of acceptance of users by effective use of optimizations to improve the letter communication across different target groups.
